Michael Graham, Senior Managing Director and Country Head - USA
Michael joined OMERS Private Equity in July 2003.
Background
Michael has extensive experience in financial services, including the private equity and venture capital industries. From 1996 to 2003, he was Vice President of Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc., a $600 million private equity and venture capital fund based in Toronto, where he was responsible for sourcing and structuring expansion, mezzanine and buyout investments in Canadian companies. He began his career in finance at the National Bank of Canada and HSBC Bank Canada structuring and managing senior debt facilities. Michael is also an experienced director having served on over fifteen Canadian private and public company boards.

Michael Lank, Senior Managing Director
Michael joined OMERS Private Equity in January 2006.
Background
Michael has extensive experience in operations and management consulting including operations improvement and business turnarounds, as well as strategy development, business operations and change management. He spent four years in senior strategy and operations roles at TELUS following over six years with The Boston Consulting Group leading engagements across a wide variety of industries and markets (Canada, US, Latin America and Europe). Prior to BCG, Michael was an analyst for a small private equity boutique in Toronto focusing on investments in Mexico and buyouts in the U.S.

Philip Mauchel, Senior Managing Director
Philip joined OMERS Private Equity in December 2005.
Background
Philip was previously with Canadian Corporate Funding Ltd. for fourteen years in investment banking and private equity, which included nine years making mezzanine and equity investments in North American mid-market businesses and five years structuring, arranging and managing private placement financings. Philip was VP Finance of a mid-market private company and spent seven years in the commercial and corporate banking areas of the National Bank of Canada and CIBC. Philip has board level experience with a wide variety of private and public companies.

Lisa Melchior, Senior Managing Director
Lisa joined OMERS Private Equity in June 1999.
Background
Lisa has extensive private equity experience, with major transactions in management buyouts, acquisition financing, venture capital, mezzanine financing, and bridge loans. She previously worked as a Director at CIBC Capital Partners, the merchant banking arm of CIBC, and at Wood Gundy in the investment banking area. Lisa has board experience with a wide variety of private and public companies.

Don Morrison, Senior Managing Director and Country Head - Canada
Don joined OMERS Private Equity in March 2003.
Background
Don previously spent ten years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Corporate Finance focusing on restructurings and turnarounds. He was also a Senior Vice President, and member of the Senior Management/Investment Committees for eight years at one of Canada’s largest venture capital funds, with experience in originating and structuring expansion and buyout investments. Don is also an experienced company director having served on over twenty public and private company boards.

Tim Patterson, Senior Managing Director
Tim joined OMERS Private Equity in February 2010.
Background
Tim has over 20 years of experience in the private equity, venture capital and commercial banking industries. From 2003 to 2010, Tim was Managing Director and Head of the Toronto office of CAI Capital Partners, a North American mid-market private equity firm with approximately $500 million under management and with offices in Toronto, New York, Vancouver and Montreal. Prior to CAI, he was Vice President for eight years at one of Canada’s largest venture capital funds. Tim began his career at TD Bank and National Bank of Canada, where he held senior positions in the mid-market commercial lending groups. Tim is also an experienced director having served on over 15 private and public company boards.

Mark Redman, Senior Managing Director and Country Head - Europe
Mark joined OMERS Private Equity in September 2009.
Background
Mark has over 15 years of mid-market private equity experience across the UK and Continental Europe, initially as a corporate finance adviser with Grant Thornton in London, and subsequently during more than 12 years with 3i, latterly as a Partner in its Buyout business. Following 4 years in London with 3i, he spent 7½ years helping build 3i's new Amsterdam office, covering the Benelux region. He subsequently developed 3i’s market entry strategy for Turkey, before recently joining OMERS Private Equity as a Senior Managing Director, where Mark is leading the development of a direct investment capacity for OMERS in Europe, based out of London.
